Doing Our Bit

At Nathan Mark Dance Academy, we know that our business can make a positive contribution to addressing social, environmental and ethical concerns by working in a responsible and sustainable way.

We work with many industry experts to ensure any decisions we make are informed ones which make a genuine and lasting difference. As a result, we have developed a CSR strategy focusing on four key areas: sourcing responsibly, supporting customer wellbeing, respect for the environment, contributing to society.

Our business is all about people – from our team members and suppliers to our clients and the communities in which our studio serves. Our commitment to them is that they will be treated fairly and with respect and wherever possible we will make a positive impact on their lives.

Nathan Mark Dance Academy is all about creating feel good times and amazing memories, and this goes beyond the experiences our clients have at our studio. From hosting various fundraisers to raise money for our dancers, to installing efficient taps in our restrooms, we are committed to doing what we can for others in our community and the environment.

We use as little energy as possible in our studio. We recycle the majority of our waste and our toilet roll dissolves in cold water. We also had new taps installed into our restrooms which automatically switch off and help save water.

As well as running various fundraisers to help our dancers we also host annual charity fundraisers including a coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support©, a Wear Blue For Charlie and Carter Charity Day for The Charlie and Carter Foundation© and the Christmas Jumper Day for Save the Children©. These annual events bring the community together for a coffee (or tea), cake and lots of fun and games. 100% of all profits from these events are donated to the charity to help fund their amazing work.
